Nothing Adam says is wrong, I agree with all of the above.
I'd love to do this sort of thing for a living like he is, however there are a lot of people out there doing it and the initial outlay is quite high.
Good luck- if your ever interested in taking your data logging to the next level, hit me up!

I will say one thing though. Bum in seat time is always good. However it can be quite inefficient.
Without a properly engineered car you can spend a long time chasing your tail. A lot of these guys offering race services make a living off turning up to track and test days and taking pounds per hour. Take a lot of advice, consider it, discard what doesn't seem logical. This will save you time and money.

Josh, definitely interested in talking to you to review and learn from data logging.
Once I have the measurements and details I think I will be in a better place to talk.
Rather than just posting back and forwards can you pm me your number please. Unless you would rather post through here.

Didn't realise how much upset asking a question could cause. On the westfield club I think my innocent question has caused a few fall outs with 'professional people' in the trade.
So many different views on car set up and adjustment.

Lee, welcome to the land of cloak and daggers. Anyone involved in Motorsport has either an agenda or a blind belief.
