Who was the co driver, an instructor ar a mate?

Yes the other cars looked horrifically slow. I know the video can make things look slower than when you're actually driving but that was on another level.

    Indeed.

I've had a bit of time with him at a few track days now, as he tends to go with the same group all the time.

I've not really got on too well with some other instructors, either they've not been interested or they've been so full on barking instructions to you that it's just ended up being stressful.

I reckon I've learnt more in the couple of hours I've spent on track with Matt than I have in all the rest of the time I've spent on track.

It will be a bit different in a couple of weeks time Mike. Less traffic and I sincerely hope a much higher standard of driving than what I just saw. And dare I say it, you won't be one of the faster ones there either.

    I do hope so.

I can't remember the last track day I wasn't getting held up most of the time, so it'll be a nice change to get on track with some faster cars and drivers. Good opportunity to learn something, I suspect, too!

Yep, they are fucked. Is there any chat going down about the quality of the day?

Only passed by the two Porsche race cars all day, outside of warmup/cooldown

I'm undecided whether doing it with better machinery was a good or a bad thing. For the most part, people seemed capable and very courteous on track - much better than normal track days, but the people that were not courteous were a pain because they were all in something as fast or faster on the straights

    Epic day, though
