    Really?

    What's the beef with Goodwood?

Just isn't the same calibre of track, not enough slow turns, very little height changes, barely 2 left hand turns.

The only reason I'd be interested is because of the people going. (and so I can hold you up )

Lets be honest. We overnight wherever we go now. Out of the 14 or so at brands from the Island, none came on the day as far as I am aware. Consequently, I think that opens it up to anywhere being on the cards.

Cadwell - totally awesome but exceptionally technical in the wet and damp of winter.

Donnington - great circuit, Craner Curves flat is an epic experience, but noise can be an issue.

Rockingham - Only been there once before and raced on the oval and infield, 2 races. Loved it. Awesome circuit, infield is technical, has a couple of blind cresting apexes, running the wall at over a ton is fun too. The transition from infield to banking is very tricky to carry speed through as its slippery. Good facilities and very good for spectating at. I would suggest #1 on my list for a future trackday.

I am discounting Snetterton and Silverstone as I don't have the legs for that really with the 4 speed box.

If you want a left field entry into the mix, Pembrey. Its the arsehole end of nowhere, no facilities, but an excellent track layout and not as far away as it seems.

    Rockingham also on my list.
    Along with Cadwell.
If we can do Cadwell, we can do Oulton.

I'm 10000000% in. Staying over night before is always much better and adds to it all nicely :-)

im also keen for Rockingham but brands gets the thumbs up from me too

    I'm quite keen on Goodwood.

Any one of these circuits can be done cheaply throughout the rest of the year, but the prices of Goodwood are often much higher than we were offered last year with many more people, which severely limits track time given their sessioned approach.

That said, Cadwell and Donnington are very high on my wishlist.

I can find out about Cadwell.

Provided the 14 or so that go can part with the required money to make it viable that is.

Msv aren't big on deals. Goodwood are.

Ensuring we get the numbers is one issue.

I can foresee 15 cars at cadwell costing £300 each.

Goodwood is the circuit, any other can be done with any trackday organiser out there. As stated before Goodwwod would cost you double for twice as many cars with anybody else. Its also very local.

If I was to do Cadwell would have to be with a seperate organiser as like this coming weekend it's around £119 OPL with Opentrack. I doubt you'll get any where near that price. I want to do a summer trackday but that might be solo or a small group. That will be either Oulton park or Cadwell. Maybe donnington. Shall see.

I'm 100% for a December Goodwood event solely Evocars like last year. Was very enjoyable and imagine alot of the iowcc might join us.
